Adam Banicki-#18
Adam Banicki is master #18 -the Doc Master.
Adam is the littlest Banicki and yet the biggest too. 24 years young, Adam stands at 6’4. Spending the last three days with Adam, I’ve noticed that we seem to be reversing roles at an alarming rate.
I was always the workaholic nerd of the family:
Geek. Book reader. Salutatorian.
Teacher’s Pet. Ok, that may be going too far – “Angie is a good student, but we’ve got to control the chatterbox and socializing.” -Every report card since 1st grade.
Once I capitalized on the socializing, there was no going back….
and it seems Adam, the once relunctant student and record holding athlete, has taken over my geek.
Mr. Rebounder bounced into grad school for documentary filmmaking.
Adam is going to school full time and working at the Apple Store. The best part is that the workaholic is loving all of it. Adam is in perma geekout mode. He sleeps 4 hrs a day, stays in the editing room for hours on end, and has a million documentary ideas all aimed at impacting and changing the world, be it education, impoverished nations, or in politics.
Secretly and not-so-secretly, I am beyond proud of my lil bro and can see that we are actually one in the same. We are both working to make an impact on the world around us while enjoying the journey!
Go watch Adam’s documentary and get inspired!
